Property Video-Photographer & Content Creator

Your Responsibilities

As a Property Photo-Videographer & Content Creator you will be responsible for capturing and producing high-end visual content across our portfolio of luxury villas in the Western Cape. This is a part-time role at 20 hours per week, with the flexibility to plan your schedule around shoot days, edits, and asset delivery.

Working in close collaboration with the marketing team at Deecke Holding and our in-house Deecke Creative Agency, you will translate brand strategy into compelling visual storytelling — and prepare the assets that fuel our digital channels.

Your responsibilities include:

• Capture professional interior, exterior, and detail photography of luxury villas across the Western Cape
• Produce lifestyle and architectural imagery that showcases each property at its best
• Capture short-form video content for marketing, social, and listing platforms
• Edit and post-produce all photo and video assets in line with brand standards (color grading, retouching, formatting)
• Prepare and supply social media-ready assets to support Luxury Hideaways’ digital channels and website (asset creation only — posting is handled separately)
• Plan and execute on-location shoots, traveling between properties as required
• Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams on shoot planning, content calendars, and storytelling direction
• Ensure each property is presented with consistency, quality, and a refined high-end aesthetic
• Deliver final assets reliably and on schedule, ready for use across web, social, and listing platforms

Your Profile

• Demonstrated experience in property, architectural, or hospitality photography (portfolio required)
• Strong eye for composition, lighting, and luxury branding aesthetics
• Skilled in shooting interiors, exteriors, lifestyle, and detail imagery
• Capable of producing short-form video content alongside photography
• Proficient in photo and video editing software (Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve; Matterport a plus)
• Comfortable preparing assets formatted for Instagram, LinkedIn, website, and listing platforms
• Owns professional-grade equipment (camera, lenses, lighting where needed)
• Drone capability is a plus — not required. Licensed and CAA-compliant drone operation in South Africa would strengthen your application
• Reliable, structured, and able to work independently and meet deadlines
• Styling awareness for interiors and staging
• Very good English skills; German or Afrikaans is a plus
• Based in or near Capetown, with the flexibility to travel between villa locations

Deliverables

• High-resolution edited photographs per villa (interiors, exteriors, lifestyle, detail)
• Short-form video content ready for marketing and social use
• Social media-ready asset packages, formatted by platform
• Drone footage where applicable
• A consistent visual style aligned with Luxury Hideaways’ brand standards
